About The Event
We are delighted to announce that Quinton Pop from HOK’s London Studio will be our Thinking Out Loud speaker for 19th March 2020.
Bringing over 20 years of experience to the profession, with a passion for designing schools and universities, Quinton graduated at the University of Cape Town in Architecture. Quinton excels at the detailed design development and coordination of complex buildings. In addition to his architectural qualifications he has developed expertise gained on highly innovative, naturally-ventilated university projects, namely The School of Slavonic and East European Studies here in London. This experience helped Quinton achieve his post-graduate MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering at The Bartlett, in 2002. Prior to joining HOK, Quinton concentrated on the design development of a series of academies and university projects in the United Kingdom, characterised by innovative approaches to both learning space and sustainability. Since joining HOK’s London Studio, he has delivered the International School for Kuala Lumpur Campus and also worked on the new College of Architecture at Kuwait University. More recently, he has performed a similar role for the new Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, in Saudi Arabia.
